Learnell Wesley is beginning his first season as assistant women's basketball coach at Bloomsburg.

Wesley came to Bloomsburg after spending three years as assistant coach at Centenary College in New Jersey. Prior to that Coach Wesley was an assistant at The Shipley School in Bryn Mawr, PA.

Before entering the coaching profession, Wesley enjoyed a successful playing career at both the high school and collegiate levels. He was a three-year member of the varsity basketball team at West Philadelphia Catholic High School. He then went on to a collegiate career at Barton College in Wilson, NC where he earned a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and a minor in Sociology.

Jennifer Cughan begins her sixth season with the women's basketball team.

Cughan has had previous coaching experience on the high school level as the head coach at the Columbia County Christian School and the Bloomsburg Christian School. She has also been an assistant varsity coach at Danville High School.

After eleven years at CMSU Developmental Supports and Services in Danville, she is now employed at Bloomsburg University in the TRiO Upward Bound office as the Academic Coordinator. She completed her Master's Degree in Exceptionalities in December, 2006.

A graduate of Keuka College, Cughan and her husband Jim have a son, Luke Chamberlain.
