Bloomsburg Baseball Loses to Kutztown Saturday Night

NEWPORT NEWS, VA—Kutztown University scored six times in the second inning and went on to post an 8-5 win over Bloomsburg University in baseball action Saturday night.

With the Huskies leading 3-1 heading into the bottom half of the second, the Golden Bears scored six times to take a 7-3 lead. A big play in the inning was a two-out, three-base error with the bases loaded that plated four runs for Kutztown.

The Huskies were led by Andy Howard who was 2-4 with two runs scored, while Troy Smith was 1-3 with two RBI.

The Huskies are 1-3 on the season and will face East Stroudsburg on Sunday at 9 a.m.
